HI:EN FROM VIETNAM is a question, a memory, and a dream carried across oceans. Born in Vietnam and rooted in its traditions, I grew up with the taste of strong coffee poured through a phin, the comfort of summer rolls shared at a crowded table, and the quiet reverence of art that spoke without words. When I moved to New York, I carried those flavours and feelings with me, as if they were pieces of home folded into my suitcase.
HFV is the place where those pieces found each other again. It is an art café shaped by Vietnamese heritage and refined through a New York state of mind. Every cup of coffee, every dish, every painting on the wall is chosen with intent — an offering of memory and meaning. Nothing here is accidental: the flavours come from the recipes I grew up with, the art from the language I cannot speak but always feel, the design from the belief that beauty belongs in the everyday.
At its heart, HFV is a conversation between past and present. It honours the traditions that raised me, yet it does not remain still — it moves forward, quietly, purposefully, towards the future. Here, you will taste Vietnam, you will see art that breathes, and you will find a space shaped by care, where heritage and vision meet.
HFV is my way of sharing not just food and art, but a life’s journey — rooted in tradition, moved by beauty, and guided by intent.
